Wildcats make it to semifinals in San Diego

The Wildcat select team took everyone by surprise at the Sol Basketball tournament in San Diego.  They finished the weekend with a record of 3-1, just missing the championship game with a two point loss.  However, they showed massive improvement in their defense as well as coming closer together as a unit.  This was the first major event the Wildcats had scheduled for the 2018 summer Season.  “We were able to work in detail on some man to man defensive schemes that I believe will be  effective when we get to Vegas in July” Ken Wright the head coach said after the completion of the San Diego tournament.  The Wildcats future looks bright as they get prepared for the AVAC tournament in garden grove.
